10.500 years old chared fruit stone fragments of Canarium fruit as food remains excavated in the Hoabinhian cave of Con Mong (Thanh Hoa, Vietnam)

Taiwanese zooarchaeologist and geologists visited [1/31/2010]

 

From 23rd to 28th January, Dr. Kuangti Li, taiwanese zooarchaeologist and two taiwanese geologists (Prof. Mii and Miss Lin) visited Center for SEA Prehistory. The taiwanese scientists visited the collections of prehistoric food remains stored in the Pham Huy Thong Museum, Quang Yen (prov. Quang Ninh). We discussed about Isotop (C13, O18...) studies basing on researching shellfish food remain excavated in prehistoric site in order to identify the climate changing during early and mid holocene and influences of those changes to prehistoric human lifes.
